3 section midcentury ‘Pakalad’ ladder
A very useful and attractive tall vintage wooden ‘Pakalad’ ladder, which separates into three parts and had two leather straps and a carry handle.
They’re also good for hanging clothes or towels or displaying clothes or other items in a boutique or shop.
The three sections neatly sanded safely slot into one another at the ends, and a metal spring with a hoop locks the sections off.
There is some wear and characterful marks and spatters as you’d expect to see on steps with half a century in business.
It has been given a good and thorough wax with quality Fiddes wax purchased directly from their factory down the road. This will help protect the wood and re-moisturise it to give its colour back.
Its measurements are as follows:
302cm in height maximum X 29cm wide.
Each of three parts measure 107cm tall and two parts connected measures 214cm.
In separate parts strapped up together, 120cm X 32cm.
