1920s Art Deco original bakelite internal door plate
A stylish, black 1920s original bakelite back plate for an internal door, in the purest of Art Deco forms.
They make a perfect addition to an older door in your home or business.
The plate would probably have had a handle in the hole. A knob could also be used.
There are some fine scratches to the surface when looked at up close. Please see photos, but note the photos were taken under two bright photographic lights, and in normal household lighting conditions these imperfections wouldn’t be highlighted in the same way.
It measures 21.5cm X 6.3cm. The handle hole is 12mm in diameter.
