Midcentury collapsing egg basket – fruit bowl
A mid century wire chainmail egg basket.
This would’ve originally been used for keeping eggs, but works equally well for fruit or vegetables.
It ‘grows’ to the volume of the contents, and on its own collapses, a fascinating piece of kitchenalia.
Measures 24cm diameter X 26cm tall including handles (14cm excluding handles).
