1920s English folding beech chair by Stakmore

A 1920s beck wood folding, chair made in England by Stakmore.

With a raised lip along a round fronted seat, with a unique black steel tubular singular back leg.

Due particularly to the slim but very sturdy back leg, this chair takes very little space folded flat against a wall.

The leg makes an interesting and usual contrast with the wood, and a stylishly and comfortably designed chair.

The patent number embossed on the underside of the seat dates to 1924.

Folded up 96cm tall X 43cm wide X 7cm deep. Opened out 86cm tall 43cm wide X 48cm front of seat to back of back leg bar. 43cm seat height.
