Midcentury Jimmy the trapeze artist, fully functional mechanical toy
A spectacular c.1950s mechanical ‘Jimmy’ an incredible trapeze artist, featuring a clown like bald man in his original blue and yellow felt outfit with little jaunty hat.
A miraculous piece, which sees Jimmy spin around his pole at great speed, and not the same every time. If you stop pushing the lever to the right part way down he will swing to a different extent, sometimes holding a pose where his arms hold him above the horizontal bar, sometimes landing on his feet.
A real marvel and genuinely joyful to watch, this is a great party piece to show off at the end of your meal!
