Vintage brass door push plate
This simple, stylish and brass push plate for an internal door is a perfect elegant addition to a vintage or modern door in your home or business.
While most vintage and antique brass use left dull in tone from patina built up over the decades, this plate was covered in thick cream paint which left an unattractive and uneven stain on the surface, so I made the decision to brass polish it to a clean shine. There are still a few signs of age to the front edges. It will become more muted in time, or it can be regularly polished to maintain the shine.
