Superb mid century mantel clock *not working – for decor only*
A stunning Midcentury wind up mantel clock, with original winding key. This works for a little while and then stops.
With the most fantastic atomic style design, incorporating golden iconic midcentury type numerals on the minimalist chapter ring for 12, 3, 6, and 9, and dashes for the other numbers.
The hands and feet are a matching gold tone metal, contrasted with the bright white face and teak body.
The reverse is painted black and has a door to access the German made movement within.
The winding mechanism is unfortunately jammed and would need a clock repairer to fix it. Alternately, a quartz movement could perhaps replace the original wind up movement.
The right arbour pin (onto which the key is placed to wind) has broken off. This will be included.
This clock will look superb on a mantel piece, shelf or sideboard and make a super stylish statement.
The clock body measures 28cm wide X 18cm X 6.5cm deep.
