This Remington Portable typewriter Model T is in fantastic working condition as well as being in remarkably good cosmetic condition for its 91 years of age with its iconic round keys and gleaming, dent, rust and scratch free chassis. It has been very well looked after.

Remington brand is a world leader in typewriters. Synonymous with quality typewriters since the early 19th century, Remington produced the first commercially available typewriter and the American company have been making great machines ever since.
This is a fantastic vintage typewriter with classic 30s design, which has been cleaned, oiled and given a brand new ribbon and is ready to write the next great novel, and will even print it for you as you go!
It prints solid, full characters, every one showing clearly.
In addition to the alphabet, the typewriter has a large range of special characters including a zero key which isn’t common with machines of this vintage. It also has a well-functioning back space, caps and caps lock, in addition to Tab for skipping forward several spaces at once, and margin release for finishing a word beyond the set margin.
The vertical carriage return lever simultaneously shifts the paper up as it is moved. There are also V shaped paper supports which fold down, and a paper release lever on the platen.
The wooden case is in good condition with a strong leather handle which is unusually, in one piece.
These are lovely machines to use, to collect and to use as décor in the home or office.
