An attractive large, early 1900s brass octagonal knob for a substantially proportioned front door with its original back plate, fixing rod and a wonderfully aged patina.

The type of knob which is in a fixed position (doesn’t turn) on the centre of the exterior of an exterior door to push it open going in and pull it closed on your way out.

The octagonal brass knob protrudes 9cm in total including the back plate X 7cm in diameter. The bolt which fixes it to the door measures 7cm + for any thickness of door.
