Early 1900s verdigris brass dressing table or bathroom mirror
A gorgeous early 1900s brass framed mirror with voluptuous ornate baroque style figuring at the top and bottom of the mirror, and a superlative base with verdigris patina.
The brass has enough age to have gone the beautiful ‘verdigris’ green colour that old statues go after a century or two of weather.
The mirror rotates fully on its marvelous tripod ornate base, so it can be directed where you need it.
The knobs to either side the mirror are fixed, so to angle the mirror I have placed a piece of folded brown paper trapped at the point the mirror meets the frame. It is not seen behind the decoration and will stay firmly angled to your favoured position.
There are small parts of the outer decorative brass missing, but you have to study the mirror to notice.
A charming antique mirror, good in the bathroom or dressing table, with a nice small footprint this will go anywhere you need it.
Measures 50cm tall X 29cm wide. The base measures approx 20cm in diameter.
