Early 1900s railway carriage wooden stool
A great looking painted pine stool or small bench dating from the early decades of the 20th century and said to have come from a railway carriage.
With mid-brown wooden top and red-painted legs and stretchers. Showing a great deal of age and character, the red paint has worn well giving it a unique look.
Great for tying shoelaces on (or for kids to sit on to do up their shoes) and storing them beneath in the hallway (shoes not the kids).
Also makes a nice display shelf at home or for a shop, or as a small side table especially for narrower spaces.
Measures 56cm wide X 36cm tall X 20cm deep.
