Antique elm organist’s stool
A beautiful English 19th century antique elm organist’s stool.
This will make a lovely high side table or lamp table. It could be a bedside table, plant table, or dining stool.
Church organist stools would have to be fairly high in order that they can comfortably reach the pedalboard, played with the feet.
This example likely dates from the second half of the 1800s.
It has historic woodworm which has taken a small part of one side of the bottom of one leg and elsewhere treated and filled.
The stool has been given two coats of wax worked well into every surface to protect it and bring out the wonderful elm grain.
It measures 53cm tall and the seat measures 53cm X 26cm.
Due to the size and weight this ships within mainland UK only.
