19th century antique copper jug

A beautifully battered, rustic 19th century farmhouse jug with many decades of use and dents and patina which has made the copper an attractive and varied patina from oxidation over the years. This could easily be brought back to a gleaming copper colour but as patina can’t be put back on, it’s left in its current state for those who appreciate the age.

With a good, worn form and a great, thick handle, this piece is good for watering your house plants or decor for the fireplace, containing dried flowers on the shelf or sideboard.

Measures 18cm tall and the base diameter is 16.5cm. Spout to handle 24cm.
