1950s doctor’s leather case with drawers by Bell & Croyden of London

A good 1950s doctor’s leather travel case containing drawers with leather pulls, produced by Bell & Croyden, Wigmore Street, London (est. 1798).

Originally this case, produced by a longstanding pharmaceutical supplier would have been used by doctors for the stethoscope, thermometers etc on house calls.

Looking entirely like a heavy duty leather suitcase from the exterior, with a leather handle, inside are 3 drawers which increase in size towards the bottom.

The drawers could be used for organising stationery, brushes, craft bits, or for tidying away all of the less attractive essentials we need close by but preferably out of sight.

Measures 42cm wide X 21cm deep X 31cm tall. There drawers are all 38cm wide X 18.5cm deep. The height of the gap at the bottom is 10.5cm then going upwards the drawers are 8cm tall / 5.8cm / 3cm.
