1920s – 30s Collection of Five French postcard books
A beautiful collection of French postcard books from the 1920s and 30s.
These have wonderfully designed covers, some in the Art Deco style and all very elegant.
This listing is for all five books as a collection.
Each card within can be used as a postcard, usually with ‘Carte Postale’ to the top and a description of the image on the reverse.
Each book shows landmarks or features of the local landscape in black and white photographs. Some contain text about the city or region (in French).
Most books have been partially used so a few of the cards from them are missing.
These were bought from a brocante in Paris.
Each book measures approximately 15cm X 9cm.
